1. About InfoDogCats

InfoDogCats ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our") is an Australian online marketplace that allows registered users to post listings for cats and kittens available for sale, adoption or rehoming, and allows all visitors to browse those listings. We are a listing platform only — we are not a pet shop, broker, breeder or rescue organisation.

2. Eligibility

To use InfoDogCats, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of Australia or posting listings for cats located in Australia
• Provide accurate and truthful information when creating an account or posting a listing
• Comply with all applicable Australian federal, state and territory laws

3. User Accounts

To post a listing on InfoDogCats, you must create a free account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.

4. Listing Rules

Permitted Listings

You may post listings for cats and kittens that are:

• Located in Australia
• Legally owned by you or in your care
• Accurately described with truthful information about breed, age, health status and price
• Accompanied by genuine photographs of the actual animal

Prohibited Listings

The following are strictly prohibited on InfoDogCats:

• Fraudulent, misleading or deceptive listings
• Listings for animals that do not exist or are not in your possession
• Wild, exotic or illegally imported animals
• Animals sourced from unregistered, unlicensed or irresponsible breeding operations
• Listings designed to facilitate scams, advance payment fraud or theft
• Duplicate listings for the same animal
• Any content that violates Australian law, including animal welfare legislation

5. Listing Reviews & Moderation

All listings are subject to review before going live on the platform. We reserve the right to reject, edit or remove any listing at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms or may harm users or animals. We are not obligated to publish any listing.

6. Transactions — Important Disclaimer

InfoDogCats is a listing platform only. We do not participate in, facilitate, guarantee or take any responsibility for transactions between buyers and sellers. All purchases, adoptions and rehoming agreements are made directly between the parties involved.

We strongly recommend that all users:

• Meet in a safe, public place when viewing or handing over an animal
• Never send money in advance of viewing the animal in person
• Use cash or bank transfer in person — never use wire transfers, gift cards or cryptocurrency
• Request veterinary documentation including vaccination records and microchip details
• Bring a friend or family member when meeting a seller for the first time

InfoDogCats is not liable for any loss, injury, dispute or harm arising from transactions conducted through or as a result of listings on our platform.

7. Animal Welfare

We are committed to the welfare of all animals listed on our platform. By posting a listing, you confirm that:

• The animal is in good health and has received appropriate veterinary care
• You are complying with all relevant state and territory animal welfare laws
• You are not operating as an unlicensed commercial breeder where a licence is required
• The animal will be rehomed to a suitable, caring home

We encourage all sellers to ensure cats are vaccinated, microchipped and desexed prior to rehoming. We reserve the right to remove listings where animal welfare concerns are reported.

8. Intellectual Property

By uploading photos or content to InfoDogCats, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on our platform for the purpose of showing your listing. You retain ownership of your content. You confirm that you own the copyright to any images you upload.

All other content on InfoDogCats — including our logo, design, blog articles and platform features — is owned by InfoDogCats and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Advertising & Affiliate Links

InfoDogCats displays third-party advertisements via Google AdSense and may include affiliate links to Australian pet product retailers. We earn a small commission when you purchase through an affiliate link, at no extra cost to you. We only promote products and services we believe are beneficial to the Australian cat community.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, InfoDogCats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of money, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the platform or any transactions arising from listings on the platform.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from your use of InfoDogCats shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of InfoDogCats after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
