Our Commitment to Responsible Pet Ownership
At InfoDogCats, we take responsible pet ownership seriously. We strongly encourage all sellers to ensure their cats are:
- Vaccinated and up to date with health checks
- Microchipped and registered in accordance with Australian state laws
- Desexed where appropriate before rehoming
- Socialised and comfortable around people
We also encourage all buyers to meet the cat in person before committing, ask for veterinary documentation, and never send money in advance of viewing the animal. If you're adopting from a rescue or shelter, we commend you — please ask us about listing your rescue cats for free.

Cat ownership laws vary across Australian states and territories. We encourage all users to familiarise themselves with local regulations, including leash laws, curfew requirements, and registration obligations in their state.
